Tushita Mahayana Meditation Centre, Delhi organises a three-day commentary of the precious text ‘The foundation of all Good Qualities’ by Lama Tsongkhapa. Venerable Tenzin Namjong will undertake the session from January 16-18, 6:30-8pm.
The “Lam Rim” or “graduated stages of the path” genre of teachings is praised for its clarity and its step-by-step approach to our spiritual development. “The Foundation of All Good Qualities” by Lama Tsongkhapa is a brief Lam Rim text that has been memorised and recited as a daily meditation practice for centuries of practitioners. It outlines the essential meditations along the Buddhist path, including how to find and relate to a spiritual teacher, how to meditate on death and impermanence to compel us to make best use of our precious human life, how to generate a wish for freedom from samsara, the development of compassion and altruism, and the correct view of the ultimate nature of reality.

Ven. Tenzin Namjong will give a three-day commentary of this precious text by Lama Tsongkhapa, going verse by verse to elucidate the meaning with emphasis on how to use the text as a meditation guide. Students of any experience level will gain knowledge of the entire Buddhist path and how to create a solid foundation for daily practice.
